Class 1 Pilot (class1pilot.com) is an educational website for people who want to become commercial pilots. It is founded by the aviation education Facebook page linked from this site. That page is the main content provider. This website is the standing, indexable briefing.

We do not issue licences. We do not employ pilots. We do not conduct Class 1 medicals. We do not sell flight hours. We do not place you at an airline.

Articles, calculators, checklists, interview notes, salary bands, and school lists are general information for students. They are not:

• legal advice
• medical advice, a diagnosis, or a medical certificate
• financial, immigration, or visa advice
• an official interpretation of FAA, EASA, GCAA, PCAA, CAA Oman, or any other regulation
• a promise of a job, a cadet place, a pass mark, or a salary

Aviation rules, fees, cadet nationality filters, and medical standards change. Verify every number and every requirement with the school, the airline, and the authority that will actually licence you — before you pay a deposit.

The Class 1 briefing describes what examiners typically check. It cannot tell you whether you will pass. Only an authorised aviation medical examiner (AME / AeMC) can issue or refuse a certificate. Do not stop prescribed treatment, hide a history, or start a course because something on this site “sounded fine.”

The fit check is a set of honest questions. It is not an aptitude test, a psychometric, or a medical screen. A high score does not mean you should train. A low score does not mean you must not. It is a briefing, not a verdict.

Training costs, extras, and the pipeline calculator are indicative 2026 ranges compiled for comparison. Fuel, failed exams, extra hours, housing, and currency will move the real invoice. A figure on this site is not a quote.

Named flight schools, colleges, cadet programmes, and job-board links are listed as public reference points. A listing is not an endorsement, a partnership, a vacancy that is still open, or a guarantee of a job. We do not take applications or CVs. Apply only on the operator’s own careers page. An airline logo on a brochure is not a contract.

We are not a party to any training contract, bond, loan, or type rating you sign. If a course fails you, overruns, or does not lead to a job, that dispute is between you and the provider.

The E6B computer, VOR trainer, METAR decoder, holding trainer, mass and balance, cost estimator, checklist, and similar tools are training aids. They use classroom assumptions. They are not certified flight computers, not AFM performance, not a NAV receiver, not a weather office, and not a weigh-in. Do not take off, intercept a radial, enter a hold, load an aircraft, or fuel-plan from a phone screen on this site. Cross-check the aircraft flight manual, a mechanical E6B, and current official weather.

The weekly dispatch summarises third-party aviation news with a link to the named source. It is not a wire service, not investment advice, and not an airline notice. Headlines move. Cadet windows close. Confirm every figure on the original publisher before you spend money or change a plan.

Paid placements, if any, sit only in the labelled boards and School of the month described on the advertise and media kit pages. A partner does not write the briefings, the medical notes, the fit check, or the checklist. A paid slot is not an editorial recommendation. We may refuse or remove a placement.

Class 1 Pilot does not ask you to create an account. We do not keep a student roster.

• The checklist stores ticks in your browser only (local storage on this device). Clearing site data deletes them. We cannot see them.
• The fit check is not saved after you leave the page.
• After about ten seconds on the site, a corner card may ask for a star rating. If you tap a star, we store only the number (1–5), the page you were on, and the time. No name. No email.
• The hosting platform and your browser may log ordinary technical data (for example IP address, pages requested) to keep the site running and secure.
• We use Google Analytics (Google tag G-FWRSWZEN8C) to see which pages are read. Google’s privacy policy applies to that measurement. We do not use it to sell student lists.
• If you follow the founder’s Facebook page, Meta’s terms and privacy policy apply to that visit — not ours.
• If you email or message us, we will use that correspondence to reply. We do not sell student lists.

Do not send medical records, passport scans, or licence copies through a public Facebook comment.

Text, layout, and original images on this website are for personal, non-commercial reading unless we agree otherwise in writing. You may not copy the notes into a paid course, scrape the school list for a competing product, or present Class 1 Pilot as your own school.

Trademarks of airlines, schools, and regulators belong to their owners. We use names to identify public programmes, not to claim affiliation.

Third-party sites linked from here are outside our control. A link is a pointer, not a warranty.

The site is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for:

• deposits, fees, or loans you pay to a school or airline
• a failed medical, exam, visa, or skill test
• a cadet rejection or a bond
• loss of hours, ratings that go stale, or a type you bought without a job letter
• decisions you make from a calculator, article, or checklist

These terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman. If a court must hear a dispute about this website, the courts of Oman have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer law in your country says otherwise.
